The objective of the research was to analyse impact ultrasonic vibration assistance on wear resistance and topology enhancement AISI 1045 cylindrical steel samples after a ball burnishing process. Burnishing process parameters such as force, number passes assistance, or not, 40kHz wave. A screening design 3 factors with 2 central points planned. An improvement in when is applied, expected due effects procedure microstructure samples.
